Who we are

We are Kokoro Academy of Martial Arts. The instructors at Kokoro Academy Ilkley are certified Martial Arts professionals, as well as being genuinely friendly and helpful. They're available to assist you in all aspects of your programme. Their personal, friendly approach always ensures you'll receive the attention you have come to expect from your local Martial Arts Academy.

The Academy in Ilkley is part of the Kokoro Academy of Martial Arts Dewsbury whose Head Office is based in Dewsbury and was founded in 1995. The Academy and its instructors have won major international awards for their teaching, and the founder and Chief Instructor David Pawson has trained in the Martial Arts for over 35 years, and has trained all over the UK, Europe, Japan and the USA in persuit of gaining excellence in the Martial Arts field.
